Join us at Patriots Point in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, for Eruditio’s Leading Reliability with Technology workshop on Thursday, February 22, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. ET aboard the USS Yorktown — a 30,000 ton, 888-foot, vintage WWII aircraft carrier built specifically for the U.S. Navy and named after the Battle of Yorktown of the American Revolutionary War.
Frederic Baudart, the lead product application specialist and subject matter expert at Fluke Accelix, will co-speak at the event with Eruditio’s Shon Isenhour and Adrian Messer of UE Systems Inc. Frederic’s presentation will be “How to Add Wireless Condition Monitoring Capabilities to Improve Your Reliability PdM Program.” This session will offer insight on a full solution from Bluetooth-enabled test tools to wireless condition monitoring that sends data to a user-friendly software interface.
“The premise of the presentation will be to educate the students on the evolution and expansion of wireless capabilities as part of their maintenance strategy in a way that could improve how they are capturing data for their predictive maintenance (PdM) program,” Baudart said. “I will try to demonstrate an overall vision or ecosystem that brings the data to a central location.”
Additionally, the afternoon practical session will allow attendees to collect data with a series of wireless condition monitoring sensors, review the data on the cloud and complete their session by exporting the data into a printable format. This exercise will provide an overview of how a basic wireless condition monitoring system can enhance their PdM program.
“I hope the students gain a better understanding of the various wireless capabilities on the market and how they can interconnect to capture the correct data needed and have the ability to make actionable decisions based on the data collected with wireless and other Bluetooth tools,” Baudart said.
As a bonus, attendees will have the chance to fly the F-35 flight simulators and gain leadership experience.
